GRANT OPPORTUNITES
The mission of the Nevada Society of Scottish Clans (NSSC) is the perpetuation of ancient customs, literature, music, games, history and dress of Scotland and its people.
The NSSC awards grants to individuals, groups and not-for-profit organizations to assist these applicants with projects that directly support the Society’s mission.
GRANT PROCEDURE

Grant applications must be submitted via the NSSC’s Online Grant Application Process on its website or via email.

If the individual, group or organization benefiting from this grant is under the age of 18, the application must be completed and signed by a parent, guardian or head of the project, group or organization who is age 18 or older, and the grant must be managed by this same person.

Successful grant applicants are notified in writing by email within approximately three weeks of the NSSC’s decision to award a grant.

When the Society makes an offer of a grant, the applicant is required to accept the grant in writing by email within 10 days of the date of the email containing the grant offer.

The amount of the grant award is defined in the offer email. The amount of the award may be different from the amount the applicant requested.

The grant award must be used exclusively for the purpose for which the grant has been awarded.

The Society reserves the right to withhold a grant award or require repayment if false information is provided in the application or if the award is not spent for the purpose for which it was awarded.

Within 45 days of completion of the project, the applicant is required to submit a Final Grant Report of approximately 250 words about how the grant funds were used and addressing the information provided in the “Overview of the Project” in the Grant Application.
