Celebrate your Scottish heritage at our Annual Tartan Day Whisky Tasting on Sunday, April 6. The Canal Wine Lounge in The Meadows at Inglewood in Fernley, Nevada will host us for an afternoon of tastings and toasts, with four Scotch whiskies courtesy of Breakthru Beverage. Enjoy raffle prizes and Scotland's favorite export. Reservations required.

The festival will be held inside of and in the shared parking lot of Black Rabbit Meadery, Lead Dog Brewing and Nevada Sunset Winery (401-415 E Fourth Street, Reno, NV 89512).
The Sons & Daughters of Erin will hold the Northern Nevada Celtic Ceilidh in the Reno Brewery District of Downtown Reno. The event is free. SADOE has booked headliners Peter Daldry, Golden Bough and the local Reeling Banshees as well as will feature local Celtic entertainers, clans and vendors.

Nevada Society of Scottish Clans will host a family day of mini golf in Lake Tahoe at Kings Beach Miniature Golf. Join us on this special day in celebration of Scottish heritage. Cost is $10pp on site day of event. No reservations accepted. A family-owned miniature golf course located in gorgeous downtown Kings Beach, California.

The Kirkin’ of the Tartans is a service that started in the United States during WW2 by the Rev. Peter Marshall, who was the Chaplain to the U.S. Congress. The tradition continues and we look forward each year to this service where we can share our heritage with one another by bringing a piece of our tartan to the service for the blessing. It is a celebration of our heritage and a celebration of one of the symbols of that heritage . . . the tartan.
